Introduction to Later Life Planning

A guide to later life planning.

As you get older there is a chance that you may become lonely and/or socially isolated.  This can be for a number of different reasons including, a lack of finances (poverty), disabilities which affect your mobility, lack of  accessible transport, loss of work, motivation and loss of social connections.

The Later Life Planning guide has been put together, after a vast amount of research, to enable you to make plans and prepare for your own later life planning from an earlier age.  It will help you to review your finances going forward (including pension status), think about social connections and your health and wellbeing, giving you the opportunity to make changes whilst you are at an age to make a difference.

It is often said that ‘Hindsight is a wonderful thing’.  This review is designed to give you the foresight into your life, to make plans for your future so that when you look back in later life your hindsight is, ‘I made plans and was prepared’.
