What is available?

There are 3 programmes available:

  • Expert Patient Programme (EPP)
  • Diabetes Self Management Programme (DSMP)
  • Looking After Me (LAM)

It is important to us that everyone who wants to attend the programmes feels welcome and able to do so.

We deliver courses all over the Dudley borough, at different times/ days.

All of our programmes are delivered by a wonderful team of volunteers. They are local people who have personal experience of living with a long-term condition or caring situation.

To find out more about volunteering visit our health champions website.

“Ever since I went on the course it changed my life for the better. I decided to train as a tutor because I wanted to give something back. I get great satisfaction from meeting all the inspiring participants each week, there’s always something new to learn.” (Carole Evans, Volunteer Tutor)

We also deliver courses in community languages such as Punjabi and Urdu.
