Dudley’s Community Toothbrush Scheme is helping to support families in taking care of their teeth from as soon as a child has their first tooth.
We have provided many organisations across the borough, including foodbanks, charities, warm spaces and religious places of worship, with free toothbrush packs to give to members of the community who are in need.
The packs include a toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, information postcard about the importance of oral health.
We are also providing every child in KS1 via the education settings a free toothbrush pack and our new Healthy Lunchbox Resource which promotes healthy eating and making tooth friendly food swaps.
Through Dudley’s Community Toothbrush Scheme, many organisations across
the borough have been provided with free toothbrush packs to give to residents. Please see the participating organisations here.
Are you happy to provide us with some feedback after receiving a toothbrushing pack through Dudley’s Community Toothbrush Scheme? Your feedback will help to secure future funding for the toothbrush scheme. If yes, please scan the QR Code provided on the packaging of your toothbrush pack and provide us your details. 4 weeks later, Dudley Council’s Public Health Team will contact you with a survey to complete.
