In life it’s normal to have some miserable days. Everyone experiences low moods from time to time. It could be down to several reasons including a distressing event, life changes, or for no obvious reason. These periods of feeling low often pass after a couple of days, but there are things we can do to feel better sooner.

When to get help for low mood.
If your low mood or negative feelings don’t go away after two weeks, it may be a sign of depression. Do not struggle alone. It’s important that you talk to your GP about this and seek support.
