Dudley Rowing Club are inviting people of all abilities to come and have a go at rowing with them at Dudley Water Sports Centre. The club’s qualified coach will guide people through the basics of rowing on stable boats designed for beginners.
If you want to join in, you could either pop in for a taster session on a Sunday afternoon, or book onto one of the 4 week ‘Learn to Row’ courses that the club are offering through the year. The first one starts in April, with two more courses in the summer.

Weekly club sessions
Club sessions are for existing club members to develop their skills at the times schown below. New particpants are welcome to attend as a taster session for a charge of £5.
Sundays: 13.00 to 16.00
Tuesdays: 18.00 to 19.30 (from April to September only)
Learn to Row Courses
These courses are aimed at beginners who want to learn the basic skills needed in order to row and build confidence on the water. The dates and times for the courses are;
- Course 1: Sundays 15.00 – 17.00. 17 & 24 April, 1 & 8 May
- Course 2: Sundays 15.00 – 17.00. 31 July, 7, 14 & 21 August
- Course 3: Tuesdays 19.00 – 21.00. 2, 9, 16 & 23 August
The cost is £45 per person per course.
