Some vaccines are not routinely available to everyone on the NHS but are available for those who fall into certain at risk groups. These may include people with long-term health conditions, healthcare workers or pregnant woman.
Additional vaccines for special groups include:
- Flu vaccine for people with long-term health conditions
- Flu vaccine for pregnant women
- Whooping cough vaccine for pregnant women
- Hepatitis B vaccination
- TB vaccination
- Chickenpox vaccination
- MenACWY for first-time university entrants
If you have a long term health condition, are pregnant or a healthcare worker, make sure you discuss additional vaccinations with your GP practice.
