Lets Get is changing….

The new name for Lets Get will shortly move to Healthy Dudley and will also have a brand new website to boot! More information will follow soon!

The term ‘substance misuse’ is often used to describe the use of drug and sometimes alcohol, substance misuse includes the use of illegal drugs and the misuse of:

  • Alcohol
  • Prescription(or over-the counter) medicines
  • Volatile substances (including glues, gases and aerosols)
  • New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) ‘formerly known as legal highs’

All of these substances can have a major impact on the physical and mental health of people using them, affecting their ability to be well and impacting upon their relationships with friends, family and the wider community.

The role of Dudley’s Substance Misuse program is to ensure people have the capacity to make positive choices to improve their own well-being as well as providing recovery orientated support services locally.

To find out more information about drugs visit FRANK.  FRANK has more detailed information on drugs, alcohol and other substance misuse issues.
