Kooth is an online counselling and emotional well-being support service for children and young people.
Kooth is a completely safe and anonymous website where you can go to gain advice, support and guidance from their BACP qualified counsellors, up to 10pm, 365 days a year.
The experienced counsellors, moderated message forums and magazine can offer emotional support to you around a wide range of issues, from having a bad day or falling out with friends, to more serious issues such as bullying, stress, anxiety, depression, family relationships, sexuality, eating disorders, self-harm, abuse etc.
They can also support you if you are on the waiting list for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) or if you do not meet the CAMHS criteria.
Kooth’s Mananging Exam Stress workshops were really well attended last month and booked up very quickly. Although exams are now well under-way you can still access a recording of the workshop if you were unable to join or if you wanted to look back on some of the hints and tips.
See Kooth’s 3 minute video to help support any students with their mock exams. This will provide you with some useful hints and tips in coping with stress and anxiety as well as accessing exam support information on Kooth.
