Children and young people from High Oak Youth and Community Centre planned 12 weeks of after school club sessions. For each session they learn a new skill.
The first skills gained were online safety, computer skills and photography. After 12 weeks the children and young people will decide what they would like to learn or share for the next 12 weeks.
The young people wanted to learn skills that they can use in their everyday lives and gain valuable knowledge that they can then share with others. The sessions are not just about the young people learning from staff and professionals but they give the group the opportunity to learn from each other.
