The WorkStart programme is giving people with disabilities the experience, training and support to boost their confidence and skill. Taking part will increase their potential of finding paid employment.
Lunch on the Run and Goodlife CIC have used the Innovation Fund to support people with learning disabilities and/or autism through various aspects of catering based training and experience.
Participants have all achieved their level 1 Food Hygiene award. They have taken part in mock job interviews and some have found voluntary work.
